Framework Recruitment Founder David Lonergan

My name is David Lonergan, and before launching Framework Recruitment, I spent a decade at Cantifix, the undisputed leader in architectural glazing. During my time there, including four years helping to build and strengthen internal teams, I worked on some of the UK’s most ambitious projects, from award-winning Grand Designs residences to commercial icons like Battersea Power Station.

It was during this time that I saw a clear gap in the recruitment market. Traditional recruiters often didn’t fully understand the technical detail, design intent, and craftsmanship that drive the architectural glazing and façade industry. That realisation became the foundation for Framework Recruitment — a specialist recruitment business built on genuine industry insight, values-driven service, and a commitment to excellence.

Today, I work with leading companies and talented professionals across the glazing and façade sector, helping businesses grow strong teams and helping individuals find the right opportunities to build their careers. I am also a founding member of the Institute of Architectural Glazing (IAG), an initiative created with industry leaders to help build a clear pathway from higher education into the industry and support the next generation of talent.
